Amici, diem perdidi!

Though my Latin vocabulary is pretty small, I always associated this saying with the summer vacation. I just feel so unfulfilled all the time. I have nothing to do, nothing 'intelligent'. I don't even necessarily want to do something intelligent, just something... so I wouldn't feel so bored all the time, like I'm only wasting my time. I watch TV series (one of them is really crappy and I don't even know why I watch it, but it's hard to stop) and the Olympics (now and then), I read Kulichki (and when I say I read it, I mean I unsuccesfully but continually try to) and I play Forge of Empires. No, definitely not proud of that one.
Yesterday I borrowed two book in a library. A Study in Scarlet I've already finished and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed it! And I appreciate and love and worship BBC's Sherlock even more now. It's simply genius - both the TV series and sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novels. To 'read another one SH book' is already on my bucket-list.
And I also have a political biography of Edvard Beneš, Czech politician. I don't know much about him and I think it could be an interesting reading and it also makes me feel I'm doing something intelligent, so it serves its purpose.
Oh - I forgot to mention one more thing I'm doing. I set up a blog. Obviously. So far, it has no meaning whatsoever but I hope that it will acquire some by 26th August. Maybe 25th. We'll see and I surely am already looking forward to it.
I wanna fly, fly fly...

  1. Well, you just need to convince yourself summer is meant to be lazy.:D Anyway, it helps if I just go out, enjoy the weather (when it isn't raining, of course), breathe the fresh air... and it's even better when I do some kind of sport!^^"
Ummmm, good luck with your new blog and what's gonna happen with your bookish one?
